Academic Activities
For a young child primary school education is of vital importance as one of the most crucial stages in his / her development. The aim of KEALPS is to provide a solid foundation in the development of a child’s personality and the understanding of good and bad. As an institution that works towards nurturing young minds and making them competent and proficient individuals, KEALPS has formulated its academic activities to fulfill this goal.
KEALPS is registered as an aided school with the Kerala State Syllabus being taught here. The school conducts class assemblies that give every child an opportunity to shed inhibitions and bring out their talents.
We conduct field trips and nature walks which give the children insights into diverse stream of activities. The children are also encouraged to actively participate in various sports activities.
In class II children of the primary school are introduced to computers. The KEALPS library has a diverse collection of children’s books to develop reading habits in young children. Various art and craft activities are held to enhance the creative urge in children. Children are also given opportunities to encourage their theatrical, physical and artistic skills.
Science Club, Maths Club and English Club functions in the school and the club activities are conducted through out the academic year. Coaching for LSS scholarship examination is provided to the students by our teachers.To promote activity-based knowledge in a child-friendly environment is the prime focus at KEALPS.
